If Fair Trade is new to you, start off by typing “Fair + Trade + (commodity)”  into YouTube and you may be surprised by what you find.  A few minutes might change your whole perspective.

Fairtrade International (FLO)
Global umbrella body of 24 national Fair Trade labeling bodies; owner of the international FAIRTRADE Mark; establishes and safeguards Fair Trade standards.

Institute for Marketecology (IMO)
Swiss certifying body responsible for the ‘Fair for All’ label.

Africa

Fairtrade Africa
A member of FLO and the independent non-profit umbrella organization representing all Fairtrade certified producers in Africa.

Fairtrade Label South Africa
NGO promoting awareness of Fair Trade and the marketing of Fairtrade products in South Africa; member of FLO.

Asia/Pacific

The Network of Asia and Pacific Producers (NAPP)
NAPP represents producers in Asia and the Pacific within Fairtrade International and tries to ensure that Asian and Pacific voices have influence in the setting of Fairtrade standards.

Australisia

Fairtrade Australia and New Zealand
Fairtrade ANZ, an NGO representing the region within Fairtrade International, promotes the international FAIRTRADE Mark and supports producers in the Asia-Pacific region.

European Fair Trade Association
Association of 11 Fair Trade importers in nine European countries.

Fairtrade Foundation
British member of FLO which licenses use of the FAIRTRADE Mark in the UK; coordinates Fair Trade Towns campaign in the UK.

Latin America-Caribbean

The Latin American and Caribbean Network of Small Fair Trade Producers (CLAC)
CLAC represents regional producers on the FLO Board promotes Fair Trade principles and practice among  and is an association which facilitates representation and coordination, collaboration and strengthening within the context of Fair Trade.

North America

Domestic Fair Trade Association
Coalition of farms, cooperatives, workers’ associations, non-profits and fair trade businesses promoting the application of Fair Trade principles within food production processes in North America.

Equal Exchange
Pioneer Fair Trade coffee roaster; produces educational materials and organises visits to Fair Trade producers; contributed to formation of the Domestic Fair Trade Association.
